Shown here is the Final Design and imagery of a costume created, based off the book 'The Selection' by Kiera Cass.

I designed for a scene out of this book as if it were to be made into a ballet production.

This was inspired by the Peacock and based off the character 'Celeste'. She is an upper-class female who is in her late teens/early twenties. This character was quite provocative and sultry and I tried to show this through her costume.

Created was a leotard, bodice and tutu. All of it connected with either invisible poppers of was hand tacked. This includes some light embellishment using mostly rhinestones.
